In 2012, after sharing a number of sea stories with my grandson, I was told I needed to write a life "Journal" to include my years as a child in the Philippine Islands just following WW-II.
My "Journal" follows my naval service after retirement in 1982. I share what took place in my life on June 9th, 1977 two days before my oldest son graduated High School, when I accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of my Life. This event radically changed my life and healed my broken family.
The EKA-3B Skywarrior aircraft depicted in "Operation Wet Wing On Yankee Station" is from USN Carrier Detachment 19, Operating from the USS Hancock in the Gulf of Tonkin off of North Viet-Nam. The Detachment was assigned to Commander Tom Maxwell's Squadron, "VAQ-135 Black Ravens, home based at Naval Air Station Alameda, California.
