US Border Patrol Agents: the Toughest Job in America?
Here's a link to a short article on one of the toughest jobs in America; that of a US Border Patrol agent. Illegals caught working at O"Hare Airport
I'm so glad we have alert citizens who were able to detect this activity. We all need to be constantly vigilant to protect our country's security. We need better methods to detect false IDs and must complete background checks for all employees at jobs such as these which can affect our safety. Friends of mine who work civil service jobs at a hospital need to scan their fingerprints twice a day to get paid correctly. Can't we at least be this diligent with our security???

Better Fences Make Better Neighbors

Is New York's Proposed Licensing of Illegals Fair?
The following article offers an interesting perspective on the administrative policy change initiated by New York's Governor Spitzer to allow illegal aliens to apply for drivers' licenses. Apparently, he feels that it will provide better documentation of their locations and status. Others feel that it is discriminatory. Here's another perspective:
