Hi and welcome to our site! My name is Agnes and my sisters and I are the designers for the The Pillow Gallery. My passion has been sewing since I was a teenager. My love of sewing came from watching my Dad make suits. My Mom and Dad were born and raised in Budapest, Hungary in Central Europe where my Dad was a renowned Master Tailor Designer and Mom was a sketch artist. I was so impressed by how my Dad could mold a piece of fabric to fit any body size. He taught me many things like how to sew button holes by hand and make it look like art. While much of his work was done by hand, he spent many hours sewing on his industrial Pfaff machine. He taught me how to sew on this machine where I made my first pair of pants at the age of nine. I was privileged to work with Dad at home and the factory where he worked which is where I learned to design. As a designer, I see potential in every piece of fabric. I have designed women's clothing (including my own wedding dress), kids clothing, quilts, wall hangings, but my passion is designing pillows. By following our passion, my sisters and I have ended up here at The Pillow Gallery! Pillows are the quickest and easiest way to add color, personality and change the look of your room. It's undoubtedly an affordable way to add a finishing touch and bring colors and styles together in a room. What you will notice about our pillows is that often we layer textures and colors with intricate detail that add warmth.
