A little about Bonnie . . .
For me, a spark of interest in aromatherapy has grown into a passion. My experience began when I returned to college after working for several years in Occupational Therapy. After taking an Aromatherapy course offered as part of a Health Care Studies degree…I knew there was no turning back.
Not feeling completely satisfied with products I found on the shelves, I started making blends for myself. From this grew a yearning to share my blends and what I had learned with friends and family. My journey began as a labor of love. I continue forward on this path with the same sentiment.
My desire to create quality products that may be beneficial to our emotional & physical well-being, are pleasing to our senses, and leave us feeling soothed, hydrated & refreshed is my driving force. Our need to get back to basics, to eliminate toxins and to simplify is long overdue.
The re-surfacing and acceptance of health practices such as aromatherapy, herbal medicine, yoga & acupuncture to compliment modern medicine can be a great tool. Complementary & alternative practices enable us to take an active role in our own health, may help in the healing process and can help restore balance to our mind, body & spirit.
A little about Tim . . .
Since I began my track on the road to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, I have been striving to convey the importance of natural products and Holistic Therapies to everyone I come in contact with. When I look at a label on a skin care product and read all of the synthetic products used, it baffles me. Why not use a product that is made from natural ingredients and done so in harmony with nature?
I wholeheartedly believe in Holistic Therapies and the concept of treating the whole person and meeting all of their needs: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. After all, it is vital to look at the entire person, and Aromatherapy, from its very core, strives to provide this holistic approach. In order to truly achieve a state of wellness we must work to balance all of these elements. This is exactly what we have worked to do for all of the blends that we have created and offer.
A person needs balance to be healthy and happy, and needs products that encourage a harmonious relationship with their mind, body and spirit, not products that deny these aspects. In our modern world, just about everyone is constantly under the gun, rushing from here to there, grabbing the quickest bite to eat and pushing his or her well-being to the back burner. I think that it is time for you to play an active role in your well-being, and use products that are just as good at multi-tasking as you are!
