I'm impressed Liz. My wife had a Whirlpool front loader that we bought in 1979, took it to Spain and back and the pump finally quit in 2001. It had concrete counter-weights since the tub was horizontal and we loved that machine and would have bought the same one again but could not find one of the same quality. We settled for a the Maytag "Neptune" series washer and dryer.
