Anyone have an opinion on compasses? Which would you recommend as most durable? accurate?




That is a loaded question but I would recommend Brunton's Mirrored sight compass.
It has a transparent base for placing on charts and seeing to the chart and a leveling bubble. Hope that helps.

Yea but is the transparent base made of something that would brake if it ends up at the bottom of a pack?




I personally like the Brunton Compass with Magnifier and Luminescent color which is carried on this site.
Price is $14.88. Check it out under Outdoors or just type "Compass" into their search block.





Yea I ordered that compass and it works pretty well!




The US Airforce will be retiring a bunch of their C-135's and buying French Airbuses. We can probably get a good deal on the wet compases taken out of the old C-135's.




Forget about compasses and buy a Garmin GPS !





Our Political need more than this to find their ways . Do you stock any Moral Compases ?

Well, I know the Brunton Compass is retty good and it's USA made!
